Eyebetes projects conducted since 2016
Since 2016 more than 1,40,000 people have benefitted from the activities of Eyebetes.
Every year depending on the funding available, large projects are conducted in the slums, tribal areas and with frontline police personnel.
Some of our largest projects are in areas of mass congregation like our Eyebetes@Ganpati project where every year during the Ganpati festival, with the help of the Mumbai Police, we create a large pandal outside Siddhivinayak Temple on the main road in Prabhadevi and screen more than 15,000 people over the 10 days for diabetes and preventable causes of blindness.

In addition to the Eyes + Diabetes tests we provided COVID antibody testing for the events in 2020-21 conducting large community based sero-surveys which helped formulate policies to tackle the COVID pandemic

3227 frontline police personnel working in COVID hotspots were examined and we conducted the first sero-survey for COVID in the police.

1324 slums dwellers were examined and we conducted the first sero-survey for COVID in South Mumbai slums helping the local authorities deal with the pandemic in these slums.

879 healthcare workers, including nurses, para-nursing and para-medical staff, administrative staff and security working in COVID hospitals were examined
